#250: Something Almost New
This is the fifth "Semicentennial Special" strip, and I thought I'd take the time to do a little satire. I have nothing against remakes, but after so many, I've found myself longing for a short, original, average fangame. I'm also sorry to announce that I'm going on another break from the strip, mostly because I've been busy with various other things…including a very short adventure game, which should be complete soon.

Comment: Ahh, this Webcomic never fails to please. I discovered this quite a while ago and read everything from No.1 to present, But haven't really commented on them 'till This strip pointed it out to me! And that's .... cool?

Comment: Criminy, I completely forgot about that EGA/VGA fuse in SQ5! I guess that makes this strip an unintentional homage to that gag. :)

Comment: Wow, never knew the Deepship had a 2D/3D toggle switch :D Though of course it makes sense if you remember the EGA/VGA fuse in the Eureka.

Comment: Thanks! 3D Roger is actually just a generic Poser model, and 3D Xandra's body and head are two models that I downloaded, then stuck together (since the head on the anthro cat body didn't look right). Most of the colors and patterns were also added in Paint Shop Pro, too.
