#192: Low Humidity

On a related note, as I was making this strip, a recent story came up on the Demented News about a man in Australia whose combination of clothing built up so much static that while he was walking through a building, he obliviously ignited the carpet, eventually leading to an evacuation of the premises. When the man’s clothing was measured with a static electricity meter, it turned out to be carrying a current of 40,000 volts, “one step shy of spontaneous combustion”! Sounds a little like something that would happen to Roger, doesn’t it?
