Passionate Patti from the Leisure Suit Larry series and Datadog’s Lazlo the gerbil appear in panels 1 and 3. There’s also a Coctyan from LucasArts’ The Dig in panels 1-2, and Mega Man X in panels 1-3 (put here for another Sierra fan who was insisting that I include Mega Man X in a future storyarc).
OIn a related note, in the King's Quest companion, the town in KQ3 is called "The Banner of Bruce", and at one time in its history, it was attacked by a big, green monster. I just recently got this joke. Doesn't a wily reference to a comic book character cheapen the traditional fantasy feel of that series?
