#35: Deus ex machina
I was planning to make this strip #42 (for reasons that are obvious if you read it), but circumstances didn't allow that. Needless to say, I was greatly saddened by the tragic event that took place on May 11, especially because it was within an hour of my home. Strange, that. ---Injokes/references revealed below (highlight to read)--- The towel line is a takeoff of a similar line from Douglas Adams' "The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy". Towels and the number 42 both play major roles in that story. The gun from SQ7 appeared in Strip #4, and Roger discussed giving it to Arjak in Strip #19. ---End of injokes/references explanation---
